About Us at Smiling Bulldog Enterprises, LLC
Smiling Bulldog Enterprises, LLC, is a new company under President Harriet Anderson. Ms Anderson is a retired public school teacher who still teaches part-time at a local community college and contributes to her community as a local artist. Looking for something different from retirement than most retirees, Harriet joined a local businessman, Robert Harman, in setting up and managing a new business concept- a tailgate party rug. The new company, OTGPR, LLC, (Original Tailgate Party Rug) located reliable USA manufacturers and printers in the early spring of 2006 and introduced the Virginia Tech Tailgate Party Rug at both a local mall show and Chamber of Commerce Business Expo.
Since that time, the company has expanded not only its contacts and customers, but its product line. Smiling Bulldog Enterprises was formed to provide greater name recognition for new rug items such as a spirit rug for high schools, tailgate rugs for company promotions, doormats, hearth rugs and stadium seatmats.
Bo Keister will serve as Vice President for Sales and Contacts for SBE, LLC. Bo has lived in Los Angeles over the past six years, working as an actor and producer of infomercials. He has worked with several independent filmmakers and developed a funding concept for independent filmmakers which he has already presented in Virginia. Bo’s movie credits include parts in Remember the Titans, Black Dog, Vampires Anonymous. He will be working in a new film, Burial At Sea, in August 2006.
Bo’s wife, Cyndi Keister, a talented and experienced graphic designer, will be Vice President in charge of product design, web design and maintenance, and help with daily office management. Cyndi’s background includes design work for companies such as Lucasfilms, Fox, Cartoon Network, and Paramount. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a Minor in Marketing and Media Studies.
Walter B. “Benny” Keister, who will serve the company as a consultant on public relations and help with office operations, is a well-known local resident. Benny was a coach, teacher and guidance counselor for over 25 years in the Virginia Public Schools and served as a Magistrate for the 27th Judicial District for seven years. Benny served the citizens of Pulaski County as an elected official on the Dublin Town Council, then as Mayor of Dublin for 11 years. He was also elected to three terms as a House of Delegates member in the Virginia General Assembly serving from 2000 to 2006.
Now the Tailgate Rug is one of the hottest concepts going with unlimited market prospects not only to colleges/universities and NASCAR racing fans, but also to companies and organizations for use in unique advertising and promotional products. |
